The Pro Ops Concealed Carry Permit course is a 16-hour course that includes both classroom instruction and range qualification. Check out our "Licensing FAQs" page for more useful information! Contact us or check our social media for discount codes): *All wear and carry training exceeds requirements for the Maryland HQL, and you can be issued an HQL by MSP at no additional charge* MD only- $300 DC only- $300 DC, MD- $400 DC, MD, UT (MAX COVERAGE)- $450 Location: Bowie, Maryland area Booking: Booking is completed by paying the $100 deposit to reserve your seat. The remainder of the cost will be due at class or on the day of class. Students can expect instruction on the topics listed below, and more: 1. Handgun mechanisms and operation 2. Overview of State and Federal firearm laws 3. Legal aspects of self-defense 4. Defensive pistol skills 5. Expanded gun handling safety rules 6. Cleaning/maintenance 7. Firearms safety 8. Situational awareness and use of deadly force 9. CCW Application requirements and procedures 10. Firearm-related gear and use of accessories/equipment Fee Summary: The firearm, hearing protection, eye protection and targets are provided for each student & included! Range Fee: $40 (collected by range owners/employees on Day 2) Students are asked to bring: 1. Ammo is included with the use of our firearms; however, please bring 50 rounds of ammunition for your handgun, if you decide to bring your own. 2. A Positive Attitude 3. We encourage you to wear crew neck shirts and pants with a belt.
